Fitbit today sent out an email to its users who are using Microsoft HealthVault integration that they are ending support of Microsoft HealthVault. From September 12, your FitBit data will be no longer sent to HealthVault. However, all your previously synced data will be still there in the dashboard.
When you link your Fitbit account with your HealthVault record, Fitbit will send the following data daily to HealthVault.
|Fitbit Data||HealthVault Data Type||HealthVault Field Name|
|Calories burned||Exercise||Calories burned|
|Steps taken||Exercise||Number of steps|
|Got into bed||Sleep Session||Bed Time|
|Got out of bed||Sleep Session||Wake Time|
|Slept for||Sleep Session||Sleep Minutes|
|Fell asleep in||Sleep Session||Settling Minutes|
|Wake state||Sleep Session||Wake State|
On your HealthVault record, you will see a daily log of the data Fitbit sent. Microsoft HealthVault helps users gather, store, use, and share health information online. It acts as a central repository of Fitness data and it works with various apps, services and fitness devices. Check out the full list of apps and devices supported by HealthVault here.
