A significant recent complaint about the 1000 apps in the Windows Phone 7 marketplace is that none seem to take advantage of the main feature of the Windows Phone 7 Start screen – Live tiles.
It seems that this has finally changed, with the free application – Weatherbug, being the first to show up in marketplace with this functionality intact.
The above video from Pocketnow.com shows the app in action, and it certainly seems to work smoothly. Here’s hoping we will see many more applications with this functionality, which should bring competitive pressure to bear on developers who do not. I certainly know which kind of app I would buy.
