Tab overload is a real phenomenon, and sometimes it is quicker to search your history and re-open a tab than to find where you left the one you were already working on.
Mozilla is set to tackle the problem head-on with the ability to search your open tabs using a new menu command.
It is in fact already possible to search your open tabs by adding the % symbol in front of your search, but now the new “Search Tabs” command in the tabs dropdown will automatically take you back to the search bar and add the % for you.
The new feature is already available in the Firefox 66 nightly, which should hit our PCs sometime in early 2019.
