Mozilla today announced the release of Firefox 65 for Windows with improved privacy controls, AV1 support and more.

With the Enhanced Tracking Protection, Firefox now allows users to see and control how websites track them on the web. The new simplified content blocking settings give users standard, strict, and custom options to control online trackers. This update also comes with redesigned content blocking section in the site information panel (opens when you click “i” icon in the address bar).

This update comes with AV1 codec support for Windows users. AV1 is a new open, royalty-free standard for online. This update also comes with redesigned Task Manager page which reports memory usage for tabs and add-ons. This will allow you to find which tab or add-on is slowing down your browser and take appropriate action.

Finally, Firefox for Windows is now available with 32- and 64-bit MSI installers for easier enterprise deployments.
