Square Enix recently detailed various pre-order bonuses that players will receive for purchasing Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition at their retailer of choice before it comes out, but the company’s announcement glossed over some specific features that it will have on Windows 10. According to the Microsoft Store listing for the game, the Windows Edition will feature cross-platform play with Xbox One users (via PC Gamer).

This will likely allow Windows 10 and Xbox One players to take advantage of the game’s Comrades DLC together. The Comrades DLC came to consoles last year and introduced online co-op to Final Fantasy XV so you and friends could complete quests together. Comrades will ship with the Windows Edition when it releases on March 6, 2018.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Steam version won’t have the same functionality built into it. If you want to play with your friends on Xbox One, it looks like you’ll need to purchase a copy from the Microsoft Store. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will not be Xbox Play Anywhere, however.

If you pre-order from the Microsoft Store, you’ll also get the FFXV Powerup pack containing a sword called the Dodanuki which reduces enemy defense with each slash. It also comes with 10 phoenix downs and 10 elixirs.
