FCC confirms HTC Diamond with 3G for US

The FCC, perennial leaker of phone news, has revealed the existence of a HTC Touch Diamond with US 3G bands. Up till now it was not known if this device would actually be available, as the Diamond appeared destined only to come to USA on the Sprint and Verizon CDMA networks.

While the frequencies tested (850 and 1900 Mhz) are those used by AT&T, the launch of this device has still not been confirmed on the network, which is the home of the iPhone 3G in USA, a direct competitor to the Touch Diamond.
