Fallout 76 will be slightly improved soon with a new mode that lifts the game’s restrictions on PvP combat.

Announced in an official blog post, the as-of-yet unnamed mode should launch sometime in Q1 2019.

Hopefully, Fallout 76’s PvP will end up working similarly to that of other survival games with the introduction of this new update. As it currently stands, PvP remains essentially useless as the victim has to accept to the battle. They can be killed through chip damage over time, but the use of a stimpack will negate any damage you’ve done.

With updates to its core systems like this, Fallout 76 may become a better game over time. As it currently stands, it has been failure after failure. However, it seems they might be able to turn it around with enough dedication.
