Facebook’s Microsoft Teams competitor gets OneDrive and Office integration

At F8 developer conference, Facebook today announced OneDrive and Office integrations in their Workplace product. These new integrations will improve the day-to-day workflows of companies that depend on Workplace by Facebook.

You can now easily share OneDrive file links on Workplace by browsing your OneDrive folders without even leaving the Workplace tab. Once the OneDrive file link is shared, people can preview them in the news feed without leaving the Workplace. When a user clicks the Office file link, the file will be opened directly in the respective Office Online viewer. Users can then choose to either edit it online or open in the native Office clients for further changes. Check out the video demo above to know how it works.
