Facebook has just announced a new musical experience on their apps by way of a new feature called Lip Sync Live. With Lip Sync live, users will be able to lip sync to music on with live videos on Facebook. Users will be able to choose from songs in Facebook’s library and add a descriptor as well as customise their background before they start the stream.
While this makes sense for something that’d work with Facebook Stories, Facebook hasn’t enabled that feature for it yet. The firm will begin testing Lip Sync Live for Stories in the ‘coming months’. Should you want to lip sync for your Facebook audience, you’ll have to do it live for now.
“From weddings and holidays to everyday celebrations, the special moments in life are often ones we associate with music. Together with the music industry, we are working to enable people around the world to include music in their videos on Facebook, opening up more options for creativity and sharing memories with friends and family,” The firm said as it announced the service Tuesday.
Facebook is rolling out Lip Sync Live now.
