After recent scandals have tarnished Facebook’s *good* name; reverse engineer, Jane Wong, has revealed some positive changes to the app, that will soon make its way to Android users.
Previously, it was hard to distinguish between similar photos in your library when you’re about to upload them, as there was no way to preview them full-size. Soon, the updated app solves this problem, by allowing you to view the image in large, just by holding your finger over the small icon.

Whilst the feature’s certainly overdue, there doesn’t seem to be word of this feature making its way to iPhone just yet; but perhaps we will see it surface on iOS in the near future.
In other photo-related news, Facebook is also testing the ability to crop photos.
