Reverse engineer Jane Wong has uncovered a new development in the Facebook app on Android.
In the FB5 edition of the app, Facebook appears to be working on a Dark Mode for the app, a useful update since the default light mode of the app is rather blinding.
At present, the feature is still in its early stage of development, with areas of the app where there is still dark text on dark backgrounds for example.
When complete the feature will eventually also roll out to the desktop website, as promised by the company all the way back in April.
