Facebook Beta for Windows 10 PCs now available on the Store

Back at its Windows 10 Devices, Microsoft announced that Facebook, Instagram and some other companies are building Universal Windows Apps for Windows 10:

Facebook is all in on Windows 10 – we’re excited to build Universal Windows Apps for Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram

The company recently released a new update for the Facebook Beta for Windows Phone which introduced an improved user interface, and some new features. Today, a new Facebook Beta app for Windows 10 PCs was spotted on the Windows Store which is quite interesting.

For those wondering: yes, it’s an official app which will be released to the public next year. Facebook confirmed that this is, indeed, the “real deal” to Microsoft-News. Facebook also told us that users that were requested to beta-test the new Facebook app will be able to login only — which means, if you weren’t selected, you won’t be able to login to the app. The company stated:

“We’re testing Facebook for Windows Desktop, a new app for Windows 10 computers. We look forward to rolling this out more broadly next year.”

Here are some screenshots of the app:
