Microsoft’s Inside Xbox at Gamescom 2019 is aiming to bring Xbox gamers a wealth of new announcements. Most exciting, Xbox is planning something to do with the mysterious Age of Empires 4 at this year’s show.
In development at Relic, the studio behind Warhammer: Dawn of War, Company of Heroes and more, the title has remained almost silent after its original announcement. While Microsoft is adamant that the project is shaping up well behind closed doors, we still haven’t seen anything other than its trailer.

Teased on the official Age of Empires Twitter account, Age of Empires should have some presence at Microsoft’s showing. Whether it’s the fourth title or the upcoming remake of Age of Empires 2 remains unknown. If we’re lucky, it’ll be both!

With Microsoft’s Inside Xbox showing not including any more backward compatibility announcements, we hope that the company has enough reveals to keep the show interesting.
