Today, Ubisoft had their E3 2017 briefing. Members of the press, as well as gamers from around the world, attended the event at in Los Angeles. The afternoon was filled with numerous game reveals like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Skull and Bones. Project Scorpio also received new information. There were numerous surprises in there too despite all the leaks which took place a few months ago. Here’s everything you need to know from their event. Ubisoft has a lot of quality experiences coming out in 2017 and beyond.
Assassin’s Creed Origins
Ubisoft discussed Assassin’s Creed Origins on Xbox One X and revealed that the game is coming out on October 27. We also got even more gameplay footage. Before we forget, there’s also an $800 collector’s edition for the game.
The Crew 2
Ubisoft showcased new footage from The Crew 2. It looks absolutely stunning and features not only cars, but also boats and airplanes. The game is coming out in early 2018 but you can sign up for beta access today.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
South Park: The Fractured but Whole is coming out on October 17.
Transference is a trippy game coming out in Spring 2018. It appears to be a virtual reality project.
Skull and Bones
Ubisoft Singapore is working on a pirate game called Skull and Bones. It’s not like Sea of Thieves though, it’s basically a ship combat simulator. The game is coming out on Xbox One in Fall 2018. It’ll support Xbox One X as well.
Just Dance 2018
It wouldn’t be a Ubisoft event without Just Dance 2018. The game is coming out in October and looks like a lot of fun.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas
Ubisoft Toronto is working on a space combat-like game which features different ship models. Instead of taking place in space, you’re on a hostile planet known as Atlas.
Steep is getting a new Olympics-themed expansion in December. It features more snow-covered mountains and other hijinks.
Far Cry 5
Ubisoft showed off spectacular Far Cry 5 gameplay.
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Beyond Good and Evil 2 finally got a reveal trailer. The game is a prequel to the events of the first title and appears to be an online adventure. You won’t just explore one planet, but many strange and unbelievable worlds.The developers want the public to sign up for their Space Monkey Program to make the game the best it can possibly be.
Ubisoft’s conference was absolutely incredible. Not only did they surprise us with Beyond Good and Evil 2, but they showcased 30 minutes of amazing Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay after the conference. Ubisoft probably has the strongest lineup for 2017. The best part is that all of the games announced will run the best on Xbox One X.
