Hades, the hack-and-slash rogue-like dungeon crawler from Supergiant Games, was one of the first ever Epic exclusives back when the Epic Games Store launched in December 2018.
Now, Hades is finally shedding its Epic exclusive skin and heading to Steam at the end of the year.
The game is set to release on Steam on the 10th of December, 2019, which is an entire year after it first launched on the Epic Games Store.

In Hades, you play as Zagreus, the immortal prince of the Underworld. Zagreus is trying his best to break free from the clutches of his father, Hades, while growing stronger and discovering more about the world around him with each escape attempt.
As an immortal, Zagreus only finds himself back at the start whenever an escape attempt fails. You can upgrade Zagreus’ talents and skills in order to make the next escape attempt definitely the one where you succeed.
The game also features a vast wealth of characters from Greek mythology, including well known gods such as Zeus, Athena, and Poseidon and lesser known deities such as Alecto and Tisiphone.
Other characters, such as Achilles, Patroclus, and Cerberus also appear – and yes, you can pet the dog.
Hades will arrive on Steam on December 10th, 2019, in Early Access. The devs predict that the game’s v1.0 launch will be sometime in the second half of 2020. You can wishlist Hades on Steam here.
