Elder Scrolls Online is coming to Google Stadia

Zenimax’s awesome Elder Scrolls MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online, will be available for Google Stadia costumers.

Whilst no release date was announced – presumably, the title will be day and date with the service’s launch – it’s a great step forward for the cloud gaming service. While getting important single player titles like Cyberpunk 2077 is important, having a reason for players to return to your service is also important.

Elder Scrolls Online’s Stadia incarnation was revealed through a trailer for the game’s newest expansion Elsweyr, but it wasn’t revealed if all Stadia ESO players will be able to play the expansion as part of their base purchase. Will Stadia players have to pay for every expansion?

With Google Stadia not allowing cross-play with PC or console players, ESO Stadia players will have to deal with a localised niche ecosystem on launch. Hopefully, Stadia will grow enough to fill up ESO’s servers. Let’s just hope your data caps can handle it.
