Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin and Dark Souls creators From Software are combining forces for a new AAA video game titled Elden Ring, according to a leak.

According to industry insider Daniel ZHugeEX Ahmad, the title is slated to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC, just like this year’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Writer George RR Martin himself has also revealed that he’s been working with a Japanese game developer for some time. Many hoped that it would be Souls developer From Software, and it appears dreams will become reality this following week.

“There are these short films I am hoping to make, adaptations of classic stories by one of the most brilliant, quirky, and original writers our genre has ever produced.   I’ve consulted on a video game out of Japan,” Martin said.

Right now all we have is a logo, but it does go a long way to proving the game’s existence. After all, this is E3 season and the one thing E3 season is good for is leaks. With all that said, are you excited for Elden Ring?
