Showing that Microsoft is looking to translate their Metro design language beautifully to as many locations as possible, Long Zheng reports that Metro for East Asian languages will feature subtle modifications to make it work in that region also.
Microsoft’s own apps will feature a vertical text layout (as seen in the picture above) to reduce the amount of text clipping and will permeate all the first party apps, including the hubs.
Long notes that this may just be part of a broader evolution of Metro which will update the look for everyone.
Unfortunately these new templates is apparently not going to be made available to developers directly, but of course they could always modify it themselves.
