EA Sports F1 25, the latest installment in the long-running Formula 1 franchise, will release on May 30. With the debut of new important updates to increase realism and gameplay depth, will also be rolled out. The developers, Codemasters, used feedback from the community and esports drivers to develop the core mechanics and add new features.

One of the most anticipated changes is enhanced car handling, a polished TV-style presentation, and real F1 driver voiceovers. The “My Team” mode has also been reworked, now allowing players to manage two drivers instead of playing as an owner-driver. Players can also experience ‘strategic’ complexity in team management, upgrades, and contract negotiations.

The popular narrative mode “Braking Point” also returns with branching storylines and decision-based gameplay that influence race outcomes and story progression. Notably, players can now carry their Konnersport team into Career Mode post-story completion.

Additional features include improved engine sound customization, reverse track layouts, and expanded personalization options. Tracks like Bahrain, Miami, and Suzuka have been LIDAR-scanned for greater accuracy, while Silverstone and others can now be raced in reverse.

F1 25 promises a deeper, more immersive racing experience when it hits PS5 and other platforms later this May.
