EA announces ‘Battlefield I’ release date for Xbox, PS4, and PC, preorder now


Battlefield 1 developers EA and DICE have officially announced the release date of the highly anticipate title, October 21, 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Origin). The game, set in WWI features new melee weapons, dogfighting in biplanes and airships with external manned guns and more with the “most dynamic battles in FPS history”, “letting the classic Battlefield DNA shine through,” says EA.

You can also preorder the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition now and get the Hellfighter, Red Baron, and Lawrence of Arabia packs full of themed weapons and gear; five extra Battlepacks stuffed with great items; and access to the full game on October 18, three days before the official release, all for $79.99 from the Xbox Store.

On top of everything else, becoming a Battlefield Insider allows early access to the Battlefield 1 public beta, in-game rewards, and exclusive content. During the EA Play events on June 12 in Los Angeles and London, we’ll reveal the first gameplay footage and let attendees try the game for themselves. Check out the trailer below!
