So says ChinaPolling, who have polled 406 Chinese consumers. The survey is mainly directed at answering questions about consumer adoption of Chinaâ€™s nascent 3G networks, and showed most consumers intend to upgrade to the new technology within the next year.
However when asked what OS they preferred on their smartphones, a stunning 70.2% picked Windows Mobile, followed by Symbian with only 10.7%.
The real question is of course the validity of the data, with Windows Mobile only holding a 10% smartphone market share in China, and 400 people being only a tiny fraction of the estimated 1.3 billion people in China, but on mspoweruser.com we are not going to be arguing too much, are we 😉
