DocumentDB protocol support for MongoDB expanded to all DocumentDB regions

DocumentDB is Microsoft’s NoSQL service for highly available, globally distributed apps which allows you to take full advantage of SQL and JavaScript without the hassles of other on-premises or virtual machine-based cloud options. Back in March, Microsoft first announced the preview of DocumentDB protocol support for MongoDB, which enables applications to easily communicate with DocumentDB using existing, community supported Apache MongoDB APIs and drivers.

Microsoft yesterday announced that they are expanding their regional support so DocumentDB accounts with protocol support for MongoDB are available in all DocumentDB regions.
