A new release by Teen Games — a Russian team of mobile developers specializing in such genres as fighting, simulation, action and more — has been adapted for the Windows platform. The fans of strategy now have their chance to try themselves in a large-scale and rather peculiar project. In the Virus Plague game the player’s tactical thinking is focused on a single purpose of destroying the civilization with the help of a deadly virus.
The evil mission requires immaculate planning and monitoring: the speed with which the disease spreads as well as its efficiency in killing population depends on a number of factors to be constantly regulated. In order to wipe the humanity off the face of earth for good, the player has to track the geography of the pandemic, the ways the virus gets transmitted, the state of those who have contracted the disease and the fatality rates. Virus mutations help to boost the efficiency but the possibilities of implementing them are limited and take much thought in how to better use the resources involved. The game provides three difficulty levels. After trying your hand in killing off the developing countries that offer little resistance to the pandemic, you can go on to conquer futuristic states, well-protected by the up-to-date medical knowledge and the above-average health of population.
Virus Plague game is available for free download here.
The paid, ad-free version of the game is also presented for $1.99.
