Developer Submission: Can A Thousand People Write A Book? Introducing Novelista

A few months ago I asked myself if a book could be written by hundreds or even thousands of people at the same time. There are a lot of reasons why this should be impossible: Coordination, talent, continuity and many more. Yet, platforms like reddit exist, where all content is chosen by its users.

What if we could break down a book into hundreds of small chapters that could be curated by writers and readers? What if we could combine these chapters into a story with infinite decisions? Even if you are not an author, wouldn’t it be fun to read a book with infinite decicions where you can decide how the story continues?

Today I’m pleased to invite you to the first public alpha of Novelista for Windows 10.

  • Write a book with hundreds or thousands of other users
  • Not much of an author? Experience a story that can unfold however you want it to
