We rarely see smartphone companies revealing detailed information about their flagship products just a day before its launch. Well, that’s exactly what’s happened to the Lenovo’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Z6 Pro, world’s first 100-megapixel smartphone. And it’s not coming from an employee or PR, the Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng himself on Weibo revealed information about the Z6 in great detail.
According to the Lenovo VP, Lenovo Z6 will rock the latest and most-powerful Snapdragon 855 coupled with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The Lenovo Z6 is probably shying away from the facing recognition, instead, it is settling with the In-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. The Z6 is also rumored to have a PC-like water cooling system.
Featuring a water 6.39-inch display, the smartphone will be having a u-shaped notch and a 100-megapixel camera at the back, the main USP of the device. We are talking about an AI-powered quad camera set up, it’s 48MP + 16MP + 8MP + 2MP at the rear. Did you do the math? Don’t blame me. Lenovo says the back camera can output 100MP resolution images.
Powering the device will be a 4000mAh battery. Also, it will have Dolby Panoramic Sound support. The smartphone will run Android 9 Pie based ZUI out of the box.
The smartphone is all set to launch tomorrow in Bejing, China. You can see the teaser video below.
