Desperate to pay with your watch? Get the bPay Loop

Windows Mobile users do not have it every easy when it comes to contact-less payment options, but there is a quick and easy way to add NFC payments to most of your gadgets.

Barclays Bank offers the bPay system, which adds a NFC payment chip to your phone, key fob or even watch, and you do not need to be a Barclays customer.

The system lets you may payments of up tp £30 at contact-less terminals, and the system uses a balance which can be topped up automatically or manually. While they do not offer a Windows Phone app they do offer a mobile website with the same features meaning you can still manage your balance, check your transactions and top up wherever you go.

Their latest innovation is the bPay Loop above, which slide it onto your existing watch or fitness band and can be fitted to any compatible strap up to 22mm wide with an open buckle.

Like your card your chip needs no battery, but is much more easily accessible, and means you can slip through the underground or wherever Oyster is used without exposing your wallet.

The Loop costs £19.99 and with little prospect of wireless payments for Windows Phone in UK any time soon it seems a small price to pay for the added convenience.
