One area in which Windows Phone 7 is not particularly strong is enterprise support, so it is welcome news to see an app released aimed directly at the IT workers in the back office.
Enterprise Alert allows IT staff to see alerts, monitoring, management and helpdesk requests while away from their desk. It integrates with DERDACKâ€™s server product and supports push notifications and seamless mobile access to IT incidents. It enables convenient incident management including assignment, acknowledgement, remote updates and ticket resolution on-the-go.
The solution supports systems like Microsoft System Center (SCOM, SCSM), IBM Tivoli, HP OM and others and could therefore find a home in nearly any IT shop.
