Department of Computer Science announce the winners of five Nokia Lumia 620

The department of Computer Science and Telecommunications (TEI of Thessaly) has concluded the Greek “Windows 8 app developer contest”. The contest attracted many undergraduate students who created more than 25 new apps. Applications were submitted for evaluation by an official panel of judges, who selected the winners based on a number of criteria including Originality & Innovation, Programming Level, Visual Appeal and Consumer Appeal/Focus . The 5 top winners will receive a brand new NOKIA LUMIA 620 provided by Microsoft Hellas.

In alphabetical order, the 5 winners included the following:
1) – Reading sport news from (Greek )
2) My Week – Helps students to easily keep up with their weekly schedule
3) KitchenTools – Is a handy and ligght app that helps you keep cooking and shopping organized
4) Frog crossing – The classical game in which your aim is to guide little frog across the road and reach its destination
5) Con Fly – a fun game where you get to kill all kind of flying bugs with a cannon
