Today, Dell announced their updated Inspiron 7000 series laptops and 2-in-1s with new 8th gen Intel processors. These devices offer great visual experience and performance in sleek, affordable packages.

The new Inspiron 13 & 15 7000 laptops and 2-in-1s come with thin and light design with the latest technologies that rival some of the premium laptops available in the market. FHD (1920×1080) IPS touch screen with a thin bezel and a 300 nit screen brightness is a standard across all models. But consumers can opt for the premium 4k UHD screen with 100% AdobeRGB coverage and 350 nit brightness on 15-inch model. My guess is that Dell will be using the same display which we already see in the Dell XPS 15 laptops. These laptops come with speakers that are professionally tuned with Waves MaxxAudio Pro software. The new SmartByte software optimizes your network to prioritize video streaming ahead of other network traffic for buffer free video streaming.

The biggest change when compared to the last gen Inspiron products is that they are now powered by the new 8th gen Intel Core processors (i5 or i7). Consumers can choose up to 16GB of DDR4 memory, and up to 512GB SSDs with PCIe NVMe as an option. The 15-inch model can also be configured with NVIDIA discrete graphics with up to 4GB GDDR5 of discrete memory. On the side of these laptops, you can find a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port supporting DisplayPort and Power Delivery, a HDMI 2.0 port, a 3:1 SD Card Reader, and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one with PowerShare). The 15” model has an additional USB 3.1 Gen 1 port.

All these devices come with a infrared camera to support Windows Hello authentication. On the 13-inch model, a fingerprint reader located on the power button is available to provide an easy & secure authentication experience. Dell will be offering this range in Pink champagne and Platinum Silver colors. Find the pricing and availability details of these products below.
