Despite Black Friday being right around the corner, Microsoft believes that you shouldn’t have to wait to enjoy the savings off of its newest console. That’s why from November 4 – November 12, those who buy a new Xbox One or Xbox One S console bundle, will also have the opportunity to nab a free game in the process. There’s no shortage of available bundles either, from Xbox One S’s ‘Battlefield 1‘ and ‘Gears of War 4‘ bundles, to the original Xbox One’s ‘Quantum Break‘ and ‘Gears of War: Ultimate Edition‘ bundles. The Xbox One S bundles start at around $299, while the OG Xbox One starts at $249. And there’s also a pretty big selection of games too, including ‘Tom Clancy’s: The Division‘, ‘Watch Dogs‘, and ‘Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate‘. Regardless of which free game you pick, it seems as though you get extra bonuses as Microsoft offered $20 off of ‘Gears of War 4‘ at checkout, and most bundles come with either a 14 day Xbox Live Gold trail or 1 month of EA Access.
It comes as a bit of surprise that Microsoft would offer a deal like this right now, especially when Dell’s leaked Black Friday deal yesterday gave you an Xbox One Bundle, Gears of War 4, and an extra controller for $249, $50 less than Microsoft’s offer. However it doesn’t offer the flexibility that Microsoft’s deal does, with either the bundle or the extra game. I guess Redmond wants to keep the momentum going for its console, especially when it still has a lead over Sony.
