Back in 2016, Ubisoft’s Steep provided a fantastic open world snowboarding game for a chilly December. Now, years on, many have forgotten about the stellar snowboarding experience that game offered. Also, now, it’s free.

If you pop off over to Ubisoft’s official website, you can get Steep for free! As long as you sign up to Ubisoft’s Uplay, you’ll be able to claim the free copy and keep it for good.

Of course, anyone who wants to play Steep on PC through this method will have to download and install Uplay. It’s not that much of a hassle, but some PC gamers are definitely against it.

At this moment in time, Ubisoft has placed Steep’s DLC on a huge sale. While each expansion is reasonably priced, you can pick up the game’s entire season pas on a whopping 60% discount.

Ubisoft’s Uplay service is becoming even more successful recently. Games such as The Division 2 have been increasing the service’s traffic by a total of 10x due to Ubisoft’s abandonment of Steam.
