Crytek’s iconic Crysis trilogy is now available to play on Xbox One through the backward compatibility program.

Announced through Major Nelson’s Twitter account, it would now appear that the Xbox One can indeed run Crysis.

While the games may now be available, they don’t seem to be X-Enhanced. The One X enhancement program for backward compatibility was one of the more interesting aspects of the system, allowing a nine times resolution increase over the Xbox 360 version, but it has frequently been forgotten about.

If these three games do get to see a resolution boost through X-enhancement, the Crysis Trilogy will become a beautiful graphical powerhouse once again.
