Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy holds off The Crew 2 and returns to the top spot on UK sales charts

High profile releases have been slim lately, with Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 being one of the only new AAA games launching recently. However, according to GFK Chart-Track, which tracks UK game sales, fans have been clamoring for the classics.

Despite The Crew 2 being a completely new game, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy returned to No.1 on the charts. Not only is the N. Sane Trilogy a remaster of the series’ first three games, but it actually already released for PS4 last year. It jumped from No.22 to the top spot after releasing for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC last week. People certainly love Crash.

The Crew 2 followed at No.2, aptly enough. The N. Sane Trilogy also knocked Mario Aces Tennis down from No.1 to the fourth spot. Though NieR:Automata released for Xbox One as well, it missed out on the sales charts.

The top 10 UK games for the week ending June 30 are as follows:

  1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  2. The Crew 2
  3. FIFA 18
  4. Mario Tennis Aces
  5. God of War
  6. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  7. Star Wars Battlefront II
  8. Grand Theft Auto V
  9. Fallout 4
  10. Far Cry 5
