The recently released Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be heading to next-gen.

Leaked through an ESRB rating for the orange marsupial’s all-new adventure, the just-released retro platformer has been listed for a release on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen systems.
While there isn’t a listing for a PlayStation 5 version of the game, that version should be expected to release around the time of the PS5’s launch.
Activision will likely not be offering a free upgrade for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners of Crash Bandicoot considering their complicated cross-gen plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This means that the game won’t be in Xbox’s Smart Delivery lineup.

With that in mind, the game likely won’t allow the transfer of save files from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, just like Dirt 5, Yakuza 7, Spider-Man and more.
