Windows Phone’s virtual personal assistant, Cortana, has been available on Android for a little while now. Over the last couple of weeks, Microsoft released new updates to improve Cortana for Android. Today, the company released yet another update for Cortana on Android. With the latest update, Microsoft added a bunch of new features, including a new widget for the home screen.
As you can see in the above screenshot, with the Cortana widget, users can get a quick look at their reminders, and easily search something using Cortana’s voice searching feature. Alongside this new feature, Microsoft also reduced the app load time, and improved some other features:
- A new widget. For a quick launching Cortana and set reminders.
- Reduced app load time.
- A better loading experience for low speed and unstable network conditions.
- More stable voice interactions.
