Cortana for Android updated with hands-free calling support, more

Microsoft posted an updated for the Cortana for Android beta app, taking it to version 2.10.2.2135.

According to the changelog, the update brings the following improvements:

  • Calling and texting is supported via Cortana voice input. Now complete these tasks without tapping on the screen.
  • Your email commitments are archived in one central place.

While the Cortana for Android app still has less than 5 million users, Microsoft has been working to add Cortana functionality to more popular Microsoft Android apps such as Microsoft Launcher and Outlook for Android.
