Cortana is still in “preview” or alpha in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, which means the number of features supported by the digital assistant is limited.
Given that Cortana is one of the main new features of Windows 10 desktop we expect this feature to expand greatly after the release of Windows 10 at the end of July.
Now Microsoft France has confirmed on Twitter Windows 10 Mobile will be released before the end of the year, and that Cortana will be arriving there in beta at the same time.
Given the expected penetrance of Windows 10 desktop I also expect Cortana to become much more available all round the world.
