Core Windows Apps get updated ahead of the Windows 10 release

Microsoft today released new updates for the core Windows Apps ahead of the Windows 10 release. As you may expect, the latest updates for the apps doesn’t bring any new feature and mostly focuses on under the hoods improvements. Here’s a list of apps that has been updated:

  • Word Mobile
  • PowerPoint Mobile
  • Excel Mobile
  • OneNote
  • Outlook Mail and Calendar
  • Calculator
  • Windows Camera

The latest updates are already live on the Store and you can grab it on your Windows 10 device by opening up the Store app, and heading over to the Download section of the app. Keep in mind that if you’ve automatic updates enabled, you may already have the updates install.
