OnePlus, a popular Android smartphone OEM, recently revealed that it is working on a TV. Today, OnePlus CEO Pete revealed several details about the upcoming TV. First of all, OnePlus will launch the TV next month (September) starting in India. OnePlus has selected India as the launch country because of its positive work relationship with content providers in the country. OnePlus TV will also come to North America, Europe and China regions as soon as it establish partnerships with most of local and regional content providers.
Other details about OnePlus TV:
- Unlike Xiaomi’s TV series, OnePlus TV will be a new premium flagship. I think OnePlus TVs will come with OLED display panel for an exceptional viewing experience.
- OnePlus TV will come with remarkable design. It will be worth viewing even when the TV is turned off.
- OnePlus TV will support smart interconnectivity and can act as a daily smart social hub. OnePlus did not reveal any other details about these features.
