Comscore: Windows Phone adds 0.1% share, 170,000 users in June

Comscore has released their US smartphone installed base numbers for the 3 months ending June (Q2 2013).

The numbers show a small increase from last months, from 3.0 to 3.1%, which represents an increase of 170,000 Windows Phone users in the month, making it about 4.4 million users who use a Microsoft mobile OS on their phones.

Windows Phone and iOS are the only operating systems to increase their market share this month, with Blackberry as usual tanking, and Android stalling at 0% growth.

With Windows Phone’s market share in US above 3% in US we will hopefully continue to see the installed base number edging up slowly.
