The Mobile Marketing Association in France have posted the results of their second quarterly survey. The data was collected by Comscore and GFK, and it shows 4.6% of smartphone owners use Windows Phone (or Windows Mobile) in France.
This number is up from 4.3% in Q4 2012, and represents 1.1 million Windows Phone users, up 100,000 from then.
Of note is that in the same period the iPhone retreated to 22% share, and of course Google’s Android went up. Surprisingly Blackberry remained static, but the latest Kantar numbers suggest this will not remain so, with Windows Phone having 6.2% market share in the last 3 months, and Blackberry only 3.7%.
