Comscore has released some market share numbers for USA for the 3 months ending November 2015.
The numbers reveal 2.8% of US smartphone users used Windows Phone, down from 2.9%in the 3 months ending August 2015 but interestingly up from 2.7% in October.
With 195.6 million Americans using smartphones, that leaves Microsoft with 5.47 million Windows Phone users in the region, up from 5.2 million in October.
The fluctuations I suspect are around the sampling error in Comscore’s panel which makes it difficult to draw any consistent conclusions from the data, except that the number of Windows Phone users in USA seems to be remaining around constant.
