CNet has thrown the Nokia Lumia 800 in the ring against the heavyweights from the other major camps, the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
While the Windows Phone won the ease of use round, and drew on hardware design, it lost when it came to customizability, and was ultimately disqualified due to not having an app store in the hundreds of thousands.
While we do not agree with the decision, given the rapidly growing Marketplace, we think the Lumia 800 still gave a pretty good account for itself. Hopefully great sales will catalize even faster growth in Marketplace, making apps a non-issue.
