Winter may be a couple of months away but developers are already prepping our favorite games for it. Announced today by Paradox Interactive, the console editions of Cities: Skylines will be getting a winter-themed expansion called ‘Snowfall’ next month.
The Snowfall expansion challenges mayors to keep roads clear and houses warm as the city faces a harsh winter. Rain and fog will also be added to existing maps to heighten the challenge. Players can take advantage of new maps, new public transportation systems, and new heating systems to keep the city and its citizens running smoothly.
In addition, a Season Pass was announced that will include:
- Snowfall (full expansion)
- Natural Disasters (full expansion)
- Mass Transit (full expansion)
- High Tech Buildings (content creator pack)
- Art Deco (content creator pack)
- Relaxation Station (radio station DLC)
- Rock City Radio (radio station DLC)
Snowfall will be available on November 14, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows 10 for $12.99. The Season Pass is priced at $39.99. If you haven’t picked up Cities: Skylines yet, you can also purchase Cities: Skylines – Premium Edition for $69.99, which includes both the base game and Season Pass. While you can’t buy the Snowfall expansion just yet, you can still get Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition here.
