After having been recently updated to take advantage of the Windows Universal Platform, Cineplex has brought their store app to the Xbox One and Xbox 360. You can now browse 1000’s of new release and catalog digital titles from major Hollywood, Canadian and International studios, which you can rent (for a full 48 hours from the first time you press play) or own (unlimited veiwing on any device). You will need to have a Cineplex account to use the service however, which you can use on up to 5 devices per household. You can rent movies for as low as $3.99, or purchase titles for anywhere upwards of $16.99 with the inclusion of SCENE points (an entertainment rewards program in Canada that allows you to use points toward the purchase of new Cineplex titles).

Presently the service is only available in Canada, so all pricing is in Canadian dollars. Cineplex also promises exclusive deals for Xbox users in the future. Act now and take advantage of a Rent 2 Get 1 Free deal until July 28th. Head to the Xbox Store to pick up the app today!
