Last year, Microsoft announced a new category of devices called Windows Collaboration Displays which are interactive displays that are meant for meeting rooms. These displays allow people to experience Microsoft 365 services such as Office, Teams and Whiteboard at room scale. These displays also include built-in sensors that can connect to Azure IoT spatial intelligence capabilities. At Microsoft Inspire conference last year, Avocor, one of the fastest-growing collaboration display solution company, revealed its new Windows collaboration display. This product is now available on sale.
Windows collaboration display built by Avocor features 4K resolution at 60 Hertz and it connects to any Windows 10 PC via a single USB-C. It supports up to 20-point touch to enable great collaboration experience. And it comes with inking capabilities for great whiteboarding experience. It also features integrated cameras, stereo speakers and far-field microphones. The built-in sensors can connect to Azure IoT Smart Spaces, so facility managers can utilize the environmental data they collect to make real-time decisions. For example, if the sensors detect no movement of people in the meeting room for more than 15 minutes, it can automatically make changes to the room booking system.
