Run is an extremely helpful program, but what happens when the power of GPT 3.5, the language behind ChatGPT, meets this program? In short, what if we have ChatGPT in Run?
This is what devs FireCube tries to answer. The developer, who’d previouslyย brought Clippy backย to life (unofficially) in Windows 11, is bringing theirย own version of Runย with Fluent GlowUI interface and GPT 3.5 capabilities. That means, you can give prompts with natural language such as “Open wallpaper page in Settings” instead of codes.ย
“This app has an optional feature of allowing AI powered natural language processing so you can ask “Open SystemApps folder” or “Open wallpaper page in settings” as opposed to remembering commands. However this work by giving GPT the capability to run one Admin level CMD command so keep that in mind,” says theย developer.ย
The project was initially launched a few months back, but it was axed due to copyright reasons. Once installed, it’ll override the Windows + R shortcut, but it doesn’t replace the legacy Run app.ย
Nevertheless, it is important to note that this tool does not possess the exact capabilities as ChatGPT. Instead, it relies on the underlying technology of GPT 3.5 to provide its functionality. This functionality is made possible by integrating the advanced capabilities of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model, which allows for the execution of one administrative-level command.
