Cyberpunk 2077 is already many gamers’ most anticipated game of the generation. Developer CD Projekt RED isn’t just working on the one Cyberpunk game, they’re working on three Cyberpunk games.

Reported by Polish website Bankier, CD Projekt’s President and CEO revealed that the company was working on three projects with the Cyberpunk IP.

CEO Piotr Nielubowicz said that the company’s next big project would be set in the Cyberpunk universe. While the third in-development title could also be a third AAA title, it could also be a smaller spin-off title like The Witcher’s GWENT.

“Our next big project will be in the ‘Cyberpunk’ universe,” Nielubowicz said. “We’re already working on it and treat it as a really big and innovative project for us.”

According to IGN, the third Cyberpunk game in development is a multiplayer-focused addition. With each of the three projects currently in development with their own teams, this multiplayer title is being allegedly developed by a smaller 40-person workforce.

Cyberpunk 2077 is already looking amazing, but CD Projekt already has their eyes set on Cyberpunk 2078 (?) or Cyberpunk 2077-2. Hopefully, they don’t go with the latter. Nevertheless, there is currently three Cyberpunk games in development and, let’s face it, they’re probably all going to be great.
