Some images have recently leaked of what appeared to be the HTC Hima or HTC M9, an Android device which is believed will also be available in a Windows Phone version.
Now a new render has leaked via an Asian phone case OEM which appears to confirm the new squircle-shaped camera, dual-LED flash and the absence of the depth-sensing second camera.
It also shows that the design, a strong point of the HTC M8, will remain otherwise unchanged.
The rumoured specs include a 5-inch 1920×1080 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7 megapixel main camera and an UltraPixel camera on the front.
HTC should announce the Android version in the next few months, and a Windows 10 version is expected later in the year.
