Can’t wait for the Surface Duo? The LG Dual Screen will hit shelves in only 2 weeks

LG today announced that its latest flagship smartphone LG G8X ThinQ and its unique LG Dual Screen accessory will be available in the US from Nov 1st. LG G8X ThinQ smartphone comes with all the specs you expect from a 2019 flagship including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB SSD. The Dual Screen accessory is the main highlight that you can’t find on any other smartphone.

LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen allows consumers to do more at once with two displays. Like the Surface Duo device that comes next year, LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen enables consumers an entirely new way to interact with a mobile device. The 360° Freestop Hinge allows consumers to lock the device into any angle, making it practical for use as a game controller at 120°, a mini-laptop at 140°, flat at 180°, a stand or tent at 270°, or to take a call flipped back on itself at 360°.

There’s one key difference between LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen and Microsoft Surface Duo. The LG Dual Screen also features a cover display, with the essentials like notifications, date, time, and battery life available at a glance.

The LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen will be available from Amazon, AT&T and Sprint. Unlocked version of LG G8X ThinQ with LG Dual Screen will cost $699.99.
